About The Workshops

1.5hr Workshop.
£45 per head.
Select from your choice of workshops, Choc Box, Tasting, Seasonal or A Pudding fit for a Queen. All of the workshops have a seasonal theme.
"Choc Box" Make a cylydrical shaped chocolate box with a coloured cocoa butter lid and fill it with fresh cream hand dipped truffles (suitable age 14+)
"Seasonal" Make a set of 12 knackali (chocolate puddles set on coloured, edible transfers) and decorated with your choice of toppings. Moulded seasonal chocolate bites or Easter Egg.
"Tasting" Take your taste buds on a chocolate journey of their life!! Starting with childhood favourites and thru to some of the most luxury chocolate in the world. Also, make and package six knacakli.
"A Pudding for HM Queen!" In 2005 I was honored to be able to create (and also serve) a unique pudding for HM Queen as part of a five course private dinner in the House of Lords.
It was this experience that led me to starting my chocolate school in 2007!
Let me share my story with you, and demonstrate and guide you in how you too can make your own special puddings at home. Take home four individual puddings each.

Learn how to make fresh cream truffles (12) and hand dip and decorate them.
Make a set of knackali (chocolate puddles, set on coloured, edible transfers) decorated with your choice of toppings.

4hr Masterclass Chocolate Workshop.
£135 per head.
Indulge your senses in a chocolate journey. Learn everything you need to know about chocolate!
Starting with a tutored chcoolate tasting.
Tantalise your taste buds with luxury milk, white, dark and caramelised white chocolate. Serious taste bud training for your palate! Perhaps you will find your new favourite chocolate?!
Learn and understand how to make ganache then make a set of moulded bonbons and a set of truffles
Enrobe crystalised orange to make orangettes.
Design and create three chocolate bars or seasonal moulded pistoles
Package everything to take home with you.
One to One Bespoke Workshop.
£250 per head.
Let Lisa teach you everything that you need to know to go away and practise with confidence to make your own handmade chocolates at home. Covers tempering, ganache, shelf life, working with coloured cocoa butter, hand rolling, enrobing and moulding. five hours of tutoring with one hour for breaks and a simple lunch.

Childrens Birthday
Workshops.
Six children £210.00 Additional guests £25 per head.
One and a half to two hours.
Each child makes two sets of chocolates
The children take home everything that they make.
Easter Workshops.
Make and package your very own handmade Easter egg in our 1.5 hour seasonal workshop, along with other seasonal chocolates. In each 2.5 and 4 hour workshop you will craft your very own Easter Egg in place of one set of chocolates.
Online Workshops.
£30 per head
Hands On Knackali or Truffle making kits or Tutored Chocolate Tasting Kits
£30 each plus £5.99 p and p (per address)
Hosting is complimentary for orders of ten kits or more. Otherwise, one-hour chocolate hosting over zoom is £60.00
Workshop Information.
Once your date and time is agreed it will be added to the dates page for others to book, unless you have booked a one to one, children’s party, or requested for your workshop to be private (4 plus people).
I can take private bookings for large groups, please email info@thechocolatetart.co.uk to request more information and to discuss availability and venue options.
Individual attendees can see the dates page for workshops already running and with availability.
There will be others (socially distanced) in your workshop, please advise on booking if this is a problem.
Vouchers (valid six months) can be purchased from the online shop
Payment in full confirms your booking and is non-refundable less than 10 days before your booked workshop.
Your payment is transferable to a new date if notice is given more than seven days before your booked workshop date.
In the event of illness on the day please send someone else in your place.
In the event of a deposit being agreed for large groups, the balance payment is due five days before your booked workshop.
No shows lose any payments made.
COVID
If Government restrictions prevent your booking from going ahead, we can transfer your deposit payment to a new date once restrictions allow.
Please do not attend your workshop if you are showing any symptoms of Covid19 or have been in contact with anyone who has tested positive within the previous ten days.
