The children (and the adults)  loved making and tasting the chocolate, and really enjoyed learning about it, and the difference between high and poor quality chocolate! They were also really delighted to go home with the bag of chocolate they had made as well.

  • Many thanks for the chocolate workshop last week. It was fab! The whole experience was excellent - the calm setting, getting to know new people in such an informal way, learning new skills and eating chocolate! A perfect way to spend a Friday morning! I was so proud of my chocolate creations... although I must say most of what I made has now been eaten! My daughter and husband were very impressed with what I made and loved eating the chocolates too. I will definitely recommend the workshop to friends and family in Bristol and further afield who want a special experience for someone else or a treat for themselves!

  • I just want to say thank you so much for looking after us all on Saturday! Hardly anybody had heard of you before they arrived and they all loved it. Some are even talking about coming to you again! It worked really well as a 'hen' activity and we all had a lovely pub lunch afterwards, too. We appreciated you ringing them to say we were running a bit late! I brought different groups of friends and family to the workshop with me, including my mum and future mother-in-law, but I felt the workshop was perfect for everyone.

  • We had a lovely relaxing, creative and informative morning at The Chocolate Tart.  As well as showing us simple, but effective, techniques to make and package beautiful and delicious chocolates, Lisa was full of practical tips and able to explain the complex chemistry which will hopefully enable us to make them just as well at home.  Her knowledge and passion for chocolate came across very clearly.  We came away with lots of lovely chocolates which even impressed my grumpy 14 year old son!  Highly recommended.

  • Just had a very enjoyable 3 hr session at the school. Not only learnt some of the basics of cooking with chocolate but amazingly how to make three types of finished product; twice coated truffles, variously topped florentines and moulded animals with coloured features. A cleverly put together and run course by Lisa who was so helpful and encouraging that everyone in the room joined in with chat from the off. An excellent place to learn if you like chocolate.
